The Leo-Aquarius Moment

Monday July 23, 2007

The Sun has moved into Leo, which can be like warm rays burning through Cancer's heavy clouds. The general mood may be sunnier, with spontaneous bursts of enthusiasm here and there. The Sun catches up to serious Saturn, here in its final months in Leo, shining light on what's been learned these past couple of years. Those with Leo (and Aquarius) planets, have been tested, and now get the results of their efforts.

By August 9th, four planets will be in Leo, including retrograding Venus and Mercury. It's a great time to celebrate what's unique about you, your tastes, your style, and especially your creative impulses. When you recognize that everyone is unique, you avoid the Leo trap of demanding to be "special," which can imply being up on a lofty perch. There's a full Moon in Aquarius this Sunday, opposing the Leo Sun, that serves up both sides of the spectrum -- the glory of the self, and the recognition that everyone is unique. The Aquarius Moon seems to hover above the personality cloak of this lifetime, to see a sea of souls on a common journey. Here's a Leo-Aquarius culmination that brings this paradox out in the open, and tries to find balance between the two extremes.
