Venus in Scorpio

By December 5, 2007

Follow me on:

The Goddess of Love has gone into Scorpio, the sign known for its 'come hither' stare, and soulful complexity. Venus here digs deep for the essence of what's going on, and in its sifting through psychic shadows, can expose hidden reservoirs of jealousy, ill will and other bad vibes. This depth of vision is also a catalyst for relationship changes from the inside out, making it a healing force in the right hands. Moving from social Libra into Scorpio, Venus dims the lights, and we start sharing the subtle layers of the story, with a yearning to feel more closely bonded.

Through the end of December, Venus joins Mars (Cancer) and Uranus (Pisces) in water signs. It's a time when watery emotional intangibles, like sensitivities and things that make us heart-sick or full of heart, surprise us, or bring us closer. The cosmos is full of fire, as well, with so many planets in Sagittarius, including the powerful Jupiter-Pluto conjunction. The Archer evolves out of Scorpio's well, carrying the memory of its multi-dimensional sight, but casting arrows over a greater distance. Venus in Scorpio makes it pleasurable now to share our depths, and weave those soul-level realities into hopeful visions for the road ahead.
