May You Live in Interesting Times

Saturday July 12, 2008

I've heard this Chinese proverb a lot lately. Probably because we sense that there's going to be plenty of chances to find opportunity in chaos in the days ahead. We're the ones that get to be alive now, at what appears to be a turning of the ages. There's an art to looking at collective trends through the astro lens. I'm always grateful to learn from other astrologers, especially those with an expansive view of the generational planets (Pluto, Uranus, Neptune).

What stirs in the collective soul? What lies ahead? As a follow-up to yesterday's post, I'm happy to share this article on Power and the Collective, with the subtitle, Pluto in Leo: We Get What We Need. It's by German astrologer Henny Rückert, translated and enhanced by Suzanne Duarte, and first published in the Mountain Astrologer in 2005.
