Saturn and Wall Street

I didn't realize that there used to be an actual wall on Wall Street, which immediately made me think of Saturn and its fortresses. In other times of gross inequity, the wall was built up to keep out the angry masses. Now, millions are spent on private security around the "Wall" to protect those pulling the financial strings. There's the growing tension of the mass awakening of Uranus facing Saturn's wall. In this super-charged atmosphere, the engineers of the bailout may be wondering if hired guns and gated communities will keep them safe.

Those with the long view see this bail-out as the beginning of the end, and I find that hopeful. One of my favorite trend-watchers is the astrologer Arthur R. Gianfermo of Aquarian Solutions. I appreciate his humor and eye for Astro Headlines, especially in terms of shifting power structures, earth changes and the economy. As the mission statement declares, it's a great site for all those with a mystical and revolutionary inclination.

On tommorow's Jupiter-Saturn trine in earth signs, he writes that things will really start to happen, and Ethics will take center stage. We are all aware that much needs to be done to fix the mess created by TPTB (the powers that be) and to some extent all of us. The Power system advocates tried to fix the economy with power by pumping large sums of cash into the financial system. This has happened on a Global scale. We know this is going to fail. The only true solution to the economic mess is through an Ethical action and restructuring. Until we hit bottom, and really restructure (Pluto in Capricorn), we could see some desperate actions, in the attempt to keep the status quo going.

Speaking of ethics, on November 13th, we moved into the 6th Day of the Mayan Calendar. From what I know of the calendar, it's not based on the stars and planets, but on the energy consciousness of the planet. Each day or night, which lasts one year, is a stage of evolution. The 6th Day will last through next November, and will be marked by a renaissance, and purging of bad ethics. If the structure of a system (Saturn's domain) is seen as hopelessly corrupt, the awakening of Uranus will shake it up. The Wall could fall. Only then could a Saturnian structure of integrity be built. The breakdown becomes the breakthrough. It doesn't make the current economic collapse any less scary or hard on people. But looking at the long view, as the Mayans did, helps to see it as a necessary event to transition to a more ethical, sustainable new age.
