The Pumpkin Patch
The day is finally here, when Pluto goes into Capricorn, but we're already seeing institutions deemed too big to fail in a freefall. I heard a financial adviser talking about what people are going through, losing their homes and jobs, as a death experience. Pluto transits bring on a death and rebirth, and we're just starting that journey in the sign of Capricorn. It's nearly Thanksgiving in America, a land of plenty (still), and I'm grateful to have time to prepare for whatever lies ahead. A big part of that is rethinking what abundance means.
Here's author Eileen Grimes' take on these first days of Pluto in Capricorn, and how it's working on our national soul.
Our new president has Venus at 01 of Cancer: and the US's Venus is at 02 Cancer. Pluto is close to opposing that, in both charts. The very issues of Venus -- our right to have comfort and enough abundance, will be addressed. Apparently the universe has chosen Obama to help get us through this Venus issue -- to perhaps redefine what it means to feel good about ourselves, and feel a sense of satisfaction.
In a very real sort of way, its about time for this, in our country. The physical world has to have its say, and for too long we've been in Jupiter-Land -- thinking that all that we do, no matter what the consequences, we have a right to do. The new face of Pluto in Capricorn is about to change all that. Its time for us to go to work and clean up Jupiter's partying. Yeah, it's going to seem like this face of Pluto is a real buzz-kill -- but hey, its time. The real work has begun: we will learn to make do with less, and enjoy that more - because we will have to earn it.
I love the color of pumpkins, so bright against the winter landscape. I'm grateful for the abundance of this beautiful country, and I hope to be part of bringing it back to balance, integrity and living in peace with the world. Happy Thanksgiving to all of you out there! For nearly Wordless Wednesday
