Stillness in the Midst

Friday November 28, 2008

There's a real sense that time is speeding up, or at least our perception of it. The spiral of time is growing tighter, during the Sun's 2012 alignment with the Super black hole (a.k.a. Galactic Center, Great Mother, Dark Rift) at the center of the galaxy. More people are noticing synchronicity, where events pop out and show some kind of order in the chaos. What's thought one minute becomes a reality the next. We're growing closer to the infinite portal of creation, so our thoughts can manifest more quickly. We become one with the source as co-creators. I liked this description I saw recently at the Project Avalon forum: The stream of consciousness is flowing back to the Source.

The Mayan end of time is also the beginning of being timeless, and able to experience the direct link between our consciousness (thought energy) and what we create. It's not just the think and grow rich kind of Law of Attraction. This involves you on deeper levels, which is why there are no short cuts, and a key is knowing your eternal Self. The planets now energize the mind, so you can see yourself across time. And this new Moon period brings so much momentum for the highest imaginings to come to life.

Finding your still point in the midst of chaos can help you deal with whatever comes. Slow down with a cup of hot chocolate (my favorite), or just take some time to rest in silence. The best kinds of quiet are nourishing to the spirit, and allow you to tune into your deeper knowing. Here's Barbara Hand Clow on this out-of-the-ordinary new Moon and holiday season: "Moving fast forward" will characterize the whole winter season, while the restriction on consumerism during Christmas 2008 will enhance the chaos and freedom. Normally, you get conned into shopping and acting nuts this time of year, but the money spigot is drying up. Many people will simplify and quiet down to take stock of the meaning of their lives during the holidays; those who do will feel how fortunate they really are.
