John Cusack on 2012
The movie 2012 opens this Friday, and from what I've seen, looks to be a special effects montage of mass death and destruction. This is Hollywood's offering of what will happen in 2012, and it's sure to play on some peoples survival fears.
But the star of 2012 doesn't see that kind of end for humanity, but an end to the old ways of being. During a recent interview, he talked about his own views of 2012, saying, "Do you know the book, "The Return of Quetzalcoatl"? That book, I think, is a little more in line with what I think will happen; a shift in consciousness. That seemed to be more of what I think will happen rather than an actual end of days." He's referring to the book by Daniel Pinchbeck, whose site Reality Sandwich is a hub for what's emerging that's vibing on this new consciousness.
From my own explorations into this, that's what I've come to also. And that Earth is calling us back to her as Source, not a resource and there may be natural disasters in the transition. The breaking down of what we've built up -- a part of the Pluto in Capricorn cycle -- can feel like a catastrophe. But also that there's an infusion of new cosmic energies as we enter the Age of Aquarius the waterbearer, with water being consciousness washing over us. Is that why so many have had dreams of catastrophic floods? My sense is that the apocalypse is the end of linear time, so that "time" ends as we have known it. We wake up to ourselves as multi-dimensional beings, even as those barriers fall and we start living in the timeless now. What are your thoughts on 2012? Do you think you'll see the movie?

I’ve felt for some time now that the 2012 phenomena is just a typical millenarian movement, and despite everyone’s best intentions, I think that there is going to be a lot of disappointment by 2013. That’s just my opinion though. We will see what happens.
I’m totally going to see the movie as soon as it comes out. If nothing else, then at least so I can write a review about it.
i remember going to albertons in oc ca shortly after 1/2000. a manager told me of how a woman came in the first week of jan 2000 with a cart load of groceries and wanted to return them because the end of the world did not come. he apologized but said he could not accept a return on the perishable items. she was not happy. would she rather it went in her favor and it was the end of times? perspective
Thanks for this, Molly and I appreciate your views on the subject. There is no denying that our consciousness of our place in the universe is expanding – we are sending space probes deeper into the universe and viewing pictures from the Hubble Telescope that are proving we are part of a very vast cosmic ocean and are most definitely not the center of it (another Copernican revolution not a millineal lie) and which I think is very clear indication that the Mayan calendar is accurate. Our egos are having a difficult time grasping what it all means and we keep trying to live according to an old outdated structure. T
The consciousness shift will be a process not something
that will change in a blink of an eye. Look deeply at what is happening now and you can see. People are becoming more aware of how their actions are affecting the planet and are changing what they do. The government and other institutions will reform for Pluto will drag what is dark to the light for all to see. And I want to see. That’s what I’m here for.

I also think the shift is happening now. I see it in an unprecedented political awakening that like Anne says, is bringing a lot of darkness to light. I polarity of the dark is acting in some ways as a catalyst for the awakening. That’s the consciousness shift there. The dark appears to be growing more powerful, with deception and the threat of tyranny. And yet, it is catalyzing people to do astounding things, and be modern day heroes.
It’s calling on us to be more and find our power as humans. I also see the disclosure issue gaining more momentum. And our awareness of a connection to off-world beings (ancestors) coming into focus, altering everything.
The other issue is changing with the magnetosphere, which has an effect on us surely. It’s the idea that our DNA is being triggered awake, and this ripples through the collective, leading to great shifts in consciousness.
I know this 2012 issue is a mindblower. It keeps me fascinated since so many ancient prophecies converge on this time as one of epochal change.
I’m also happy to be part of it, and not setting anything in stone about what to expect. I am always learning along with everyone else. It’s an exciting time to be alive!
Why is the world-wide phenomenon of chemtrails never touched upon? I believe this nefarious global ‘non-event’ has to do with our awakening. Yet, no one speaks of it. The game appears stacked against us if we don’t even know what is happening to our beloved skies all over the world. This is disheartening for me to see day upon day as my Sun is completely shielded from view by a thick chemical haze and all natural clouds are annihilated.

I’ve written about chemtrails and agree it’s connected to the awakening. I also see Jupiter-Neptune Aquarius and the delivery by air — of all kinds of toxins, possibly linked to the current novel viruses. Chemtrails were part of my awakening that started with opening my eyes to the darkness behind September 11th.
I like what Maurice Fernandez said though that we can’t stay fixed on the dark. Being aware of it is smart to know how to offset chemtrails (like with chelation), but not letting it send you into a spiral of negativity.
I understand your hopelessness, but also think people are waking up at lightning speed. If enough people woke up to chemtrails, I’m sure things would change quickly. We can be certain, things are going to change!
