Winds of Change

It's time to step out of, or re-imagine the matrix, as Venus and the Sun move into airy Aquarius today and tomorrow. This shift from cardinal earth (Capricorn) to fixed air takes us to the ideation stage. We know big visible change is happening around us with the economy, like stores closing. The "way things have always been" doesn't look so solid anymore. Like Capricorn, Aquarius is ruled by Saturn (order), but it's also ruled by Uranus (breakthroughs). With enigmatic Aquarius, a radically different world view starts to settle in.

With Venus in Aquarius, it's a time to be a joiner, and enjoy the sense of belonging. The usual social labels matter less than how free and stimulating people are. A new love can start as a light friendship in a group situation. The sparks may come from a shared passion to make the world a better place.

More themes for this shift into Aquarius:

  • Friendly love and meeting wonderful eccentrics.
  • Protests, rebellions, indictments against inhumane actions or policies.
  • Group actions that carry technological innovations to the next stage.
  • Sudden inroads of progress, with people on the same wavelength.
  • Inspirations coming of a utopian ideal, futuristic ways of living.
  • Creating communal living situations that value each person.

I poked my nose around the art department yesterday and felt the Aquarian surge even then. For example, they’d turned an old cigarette machine into an art dispensing machine — your contribution gave you a tiny piece of real art by a student and it went toward upkeep of their gallery. How cool and rebellious is that?!

Today I’m so excited from my trip that I’m working on my interview portfolio and application to the art school.

You sound so inspired! The art dispenser – very cool.
Thanks for dropping by, Fiona!
