Your Horoscope in Color

Here's something fun for Friday. It's a simple circle showing the Sun, Moon and Ascendant in a color scope. There's a page to input your birth data, and out comes a colored circle with a short interpretation.

Creator Alix Toland calls it a bare bones approach and a kind of soul's code making use of color and the circle, a symbol for wholeness. There's the outer ring for the Ascendant, the personality, surface self. The main part of the circle is the Sun, or core self, vital life force. And the smaller circle within that is the Moon, the feeling nature, what lies inside.

My circle has a purple outer ring and is Dreamy (Pisces rising); with a gray main part with the word Nurture (Cancer Sun); and a small inner circle of Gregarious Heart (Gemini Moon). In this time when Pisces skies are calling to the imagination, it's a great way to think about your Big Three in a visual way.

Definitely not a “fun” experience since the pull down menu for the time entry is wrong. 12 am and 12 pm are reversed and one cannot enter a birth time between midnight and 1 am. I was born at 44 minutes after midnight, and there is no choice for “0 hour” even though an error message says hours must be between 0 and 23. As a consequence, the ascendant is wrong. Extremely frustrating, which is a shame since I really enjoy colors and astrology.

I see what you mean. I tested it changing my birth time to 12:44 am, and got the wrong asc. I’m sure it’s a technical glitch in the system. The other time zones are probably working.

Here’s an idea which I had yesterday: since you like color, draw, paint or used colored pens to make your own colorscope. With the right ascendant. What color do you think best matches your ascendant?

Anyway, sorry it didn’t work out and wasn’t ‘fun.’ but these wheels are so simple. why not make your own?

Jann,

So very sorry that the What’s Your Scope? form didn’t work for you. The hours input is now corrected and should work appropriately.

Thanks for adding the “zero hour.” I did run my color chart and it was easy to do this time, showing the correct ascendant, sun and moon signs. Note, though, that in the pull down menu for time, noon is still mislabeled as “12 AM” which is midnight; 12 PM is noon. This could be confusing to some. Maybe change it to “12 Noon” instead of the AM/PM designation. Again, thanks for the quick fix.
