Fogmoon & Earthing Intensity

The November Full Moon (10/11th) has many names -- Beaver, Frost, Mourning and Fog Moon. Early Norse cultures knew all of November as Fogmoon, a time to honor the fallen, and swear oaths on oath-rings, to show dedication to aims of the new year.

It's a fogmoon atmosphere, with Mars' intense and raw energy, coming into opposition to Neptune (sign Aquarius), the planet of elusive understandings. Extreme discernment keeps you from falling prey to any deceptive energies moving through the collective circuitry. The trick could be made possible by quick relaying of deception via tech means. It's a window of time to remember things are not always as they seem. This Mars-Neptune aspect is exact Monday (Nov 7, 2011) and in play at the Taurus Full Moon (Nov 10/11 -- see chart).

At the Taurus-Scorpio Full Moon, it's superproductive to earth the intensity. Both of these Zodiac signs know how to conserve vital energies for what's most important, and keep things under wraps until they've had time to gestate. You can go with the strategic timing of Scorpio and the patience of Taurus, further empowered by a Jupiter-Pluto trine in earth signs. If you go the route of grounding yourself now, the rewards are huge.

This is an ideal Moon to find your patch of calm, in the chaos. Try standing or sitting on the ground, and surrendering all the crazy/anxious/worry/rage down to the magma of the Earth, to be mixed and transformed. This is the most tranquil of Moons, if you avoid sketchy situations, and media that is playing on your fears. There's something deeper here, to draw comfort from, that's fortifying and a path of growth. What's your way of finding it?
