I have added the Cancer Sun And Aries ASC Horoscopes to my 2012 file of transits, progressions, and solar returns because I know that I will want to refer to them again and again over the course of the year for information and inspiration. I am so glad you decided to do this: )
So far, 2012 has been quite a revelation to me. I began the year by breaking through body shame, physical pain, and fear of helplessness by literally just diving in. I have begun swimming every other day after many years spent on dry land.
So many aquatic memories from childhood through my early adulthood have floated back to me as I swim and in my dreams. Mostly, though, I remember what it was to feel strong and able and I have hope that I can feel that way again for the first time in a very, very long time.
What a revelation of finding strength by moving through water — diving in, not knowing what you’d find there. There’s always the risk of being overwhelmed by waves, or shocked by what rolls in with the tide. But it beats feeling parched.
Having a similar desire to swim in deeper waters (air sign Moon tends to keep us treading without much effort, on the surface, no?) Venus, Neptune and Chiron are nearing the end of the 12th house, for me, and I’ve definitely felt submerged at times lately. And overwhelmed by what I pick up in the currents – the full spectrum.
