Mercury Retrograde & the Seeing Eye

It's a misty mercurial time, and I'm finding it hard to string together words. Mercury goes direct soon (April 4th), but we have a few more days of the Pisces sight in retrograde. Pisces is the wavy water sign that tunes us in to subtle realities, and a kind of thinking that's tough to wrangle into the usual forms. Its medium is essence, the kind found in art, poetry and meaningful glances.

• With Mercury in mutable signs, there's going with the flow, and this cycle ( Mercury retrograde) is known for fated events. There can be then, a sense of wonder about who or what will cross your path.
• Synchromysticism! Following on that first note, synchromysticism is being alert to the constant messaging with the universe, a two-way exchange that shows itself in serendipity, chance encounters, etc.
• Pisces is about being flooded out, losing sight of the shore, and washing up on the beach in a new form -- surrendering a fixed mindset, and dealing with some temporary chaos, to breakthrough to a new kind of seeing.
• Water sign Mercury is about personal, very subjective meaning -- you shape your life story, from an infinitude of choices.
• Taking note of having a feeling about something -- for example, that something is off, there's deception afoot or more to the story.
• Understanding occult (hidden) symbols and agendas.
• Through the veil messages, being haunted, vivid dreams, undoing spells/bewitchments, dissolving entrancement.
• Sadness from knowing too much, feeling too much -- empathy for suffering.
• Sensing emotional currents attached to news events, and how their force is used to unite, divide, stir the pot, confuse or manipulate.
• Weaving in the knowing that comes from the right brain (imagination), giving it creative expression.
• Pisces Mercury is the sight of the soul -- in retrograde, it's the ultimate cycle for soul searching, leaving lots of space for revelation over time.
