Fall Equinox: Adapting Intent to Wider Circles

In the spirit of being decisive, I'm calling it Fall Equinox this year. Being an American, that's what I've always know it as, though it is also Autumn Equinox (and many other names). Fall Equinox is a cross-quarter point on the solar wheel, when day and night are equal. After that, the days grow shorter, for cozy times of connection, deep study, reflection.

I adore Fall, and even this far South, there's a hint of refreshing cool in the air today. Fall equinox is Saturday this year (September 22nd), and this is auspicious timing for get-togethers and harvest festivals.

The descent begins, and to follow this seasonal rhythm, is to turn inward. And yet, it's the start of the trio of socially animated signs Libra, Scorpio and Sagittarius. A theme of this season is finding that inner light and sharing it, as the Sun goes through its annual waning time.
