It's time to retreat with the dark of the Moon, and I'm struggling with overwhelm. This raw, stressed feeling, no doubt is from imbibing way too much media with the recent drama of the storm and election here in the US. I feel way off balance, like I went on a bender of vicarious contentiousness, negativity and fear. This site of course is media, and that word intrigues me -- media as the middle man, a mediator or translator of life experience.
With this momentous Scorpio eclipse dead ahead (November 13th), I'm seeing a need to disengage, and recover. If you're in a similar boat, looking to come down from the drama of the week, I see a chance to find balance this weekend. It's one that starts with the Moon into airy Libra (Saturday, 4:35 am EDT). The Libra Moon is one for making space, beautifying, and gravitating toward what's harmonious or aesthetically pleasing.
The Libra Moon hits sublime notes all weekend, to Mercury, Jupiter, Venus and Mars, but is counter (square-opposition) to the major Uranus-Pluto square. This is a weekend, to find common ground in basic manners and natural social repartee despite any major conflicted situations that seem ongoing. Keeping things light and conversational gives everyone some breathing room.
Neptune is also direct (2:52 am EDT) and here's some information from Lynn Koiner who is very knowledgeable in this area. This advice caught my eye, and could be useful around the Scorpio eclipse. She writes, "Wearing black tourmaline can funnel off negative energy and psychic attack. If you feel a little paranoid during the retrograde period, it may be that you are picking up too much from your external environment."
