I'm nearing the end of my time at Mom's and reviewing my own tips for thriving at the holidays by the Zodiac. It's tough at times, both of us are (Sun) Cancers and there's only one kitchen, if you catch my drift. She's the alpha here and I respect that. Astrologically, we're in between eclipses, and there's a lot of martial triggering going on. Mars is engaging the Uranus-Pluto square, to mid-week, increasing the pressure at the same time the Moon is waxing to full. If there are cracks in your foundation, this could hasten a break-down, or a transformation at the core level.
The power of earth, with Mars in Capricorn, is activated this coming week. This is a symbolic peak of earthly reality, since a lunar eclipse is the earth's shadow on the Moon. This can have the atmosphere of a Dark Moon, and being in the solar descent, like the cave or void. Whatever has been crowded out, by the overlay and bustle of life can be heard, realized or experienced in that deep, ancient silence.
On top of these whammies, Mercury is direct on Monday 26th at 5:47 pm est. Stepping back and attempting objectivity here, this could be a time for getting real and breaking through to new levels of personal will, motivation, focus. Some might emerge from denial, and be ready to make strong choices like never before.
Mars in cardinal Earth is a cheerleader and motivator for the timeless, the authentic and what's worth investing in. This is a great in-between, for soul searching and astonishingly truthful conversations. There can be a resetting of a relationship, or epiphanies about what you'd like to tangibly manifest. Have a great rest of your weekend and safe journeys to all travelers...of both psychic and physical terrain.Molly Hall for About.com
