Are you self-possessed? This ideal keeps surfacing for me, as I look the cardinality of the Full Moon tomorrow (exact at 5:21 am est). Cancer has ties to the Chariot card in the Tarot. The image is of a charioteer and two horses, often depicted raring to go in two different directions. This is a card about finding a way to bring together these forceful energies, to move the whole vehicle (you) forward. It's about being in control, but in a way that's organic, not at odds with the natural flow.
It's time to see where emotional underpinnings steer you off course. If a tsunami of loony emotions is churned up, this could be your chance to really see patterns of reaction usually way below the radar. The Cancer Full Moon is responsive and sensitive to the feeling vibes it swims in. In what ways does your emotional atmosphere support your emergence? In what ways does it keep you in stagnant waters?
The Cancer Moon in its fullness takes us back to emotional scenes and memories, some that pull on us over time. I've had dreams lately that star soul mates of the past. But the future calls, and Uranus in the sign of Spring, Aries, keeps sparking our individual genius and what's self-sourced -- beyond the habitual and judging the now based on past experiences.
The Winter Solstice began a new solar year, and as that light grows stronger, the surge-like hits of Uranus Aries find traction. The clashing with a vitalized Sun-Pluto conjunction will make clear where we're still needing to find solid ground. There may be all kinds of house-cleaning going on, symbolic and literal, as the Moon waxes to its bigness.
We find our power when we claim emotional sovereignty -- a Cancer mission -- so that we're able to live in the now. This is how we become self-possessed and able to rise to the demands of our time. Other factors in play open our minds to the unusual, unconventional -- these show us ways to adapt and see from outside the usual perspective. This is a gorgeous Full Moon to step into a new reality -- Enjoy!
