Coming Full Circle

This is Part VII in a series that begins with Part I.

On the 13th anniversary of his acquittal for the murders of Ron and Nicole (October 3, 2008), OJ was finally convicted on all counts of burglary, kidnapping, extortion (12 charges in total), and was sentenced to 9-33 years in prison on December 5, 2008. (Astrologically, Saturn had come to the opposition point to the acquittal date’s chart within 4 degrees. Saturn never forgets a wrong-doing; and in this case, Saturn was just biding its time until O.J. stepped over that line, again.)

And further, on December 5, the transiting south node was right over O.J.’s Pluto, indicating that the karma debt he’s reaped had come due, and it was time to pay up.

There’s a good chance he will be spending the rest of his life in prison.

In a manner of speaking, O.J. was living on borrowed time in the fourteen years following the murders. He lived a a better life perhaps than he should have - but, in reality, he wasn’t really free; he was constantly being chased by his past, not to mention, the Goldman family, too. The media froze him out, and made fun of him. In events following his acquittal, O.J. moved To Florida, mainly to protect his NFL pension (Florida has a law that protects certain pensions from court judgements).

His life deteriorated at that point; his inner circle of friends abandoned him (which must have reinforced his abandonment issues), only to be replaced by drug dealers, thugs and those that wanted to be seen with the notorious O.J. Simpson. He attempted over and over to get back into the limelight and restore his precious image, but could never do so without ridicule. Even his attempts at telling the truth about the night of the murders, especially the book “If I Did It” were looked upon as almost a morbid exercise in futility. He didn’t understand that he couldn’t just step back into his former life: The more he tried, the worse he looked.

He will have to answer to the Goldmans’ especially, since there seems to be not just a monetary debt there, but also a karmic one, as well. Now however, as he lives what will likely be the rest of his life in prison, will the debt ever be repaid? Money aside, his soul is paying for his actions now: and will demand payback in prison, for the crazy hotel break-in he staged in Las Vegas.

O.J. is now in jail for at least the next nine years, and possibly longer. That whole event was almost comical: it had elements of a Keystone Cop movie - completely klutzy in its timing and execution. Bottom line, though, it was a grandiose play for ratings. O.J. wanted to get caught, deep down, or at least make it back to the headlines on the front page of every paper.

In the end, the appearance of OJ’s 14 years of freedom was actually him in a cage the entire time, and his attempt to “break out” from that cage on the night of the burglary attempt, ended him up permanently in a cage within a cage. No matter where he went, there it was. His past; the murders always rose up to meet him whereever he went.

With Saturn/Pluto in the 12th house, there is an illusion that there was all the time in the world, that O.J. thought he was truly free of the past. However, the cosmic leash, was in actuality, very short - 14 years to be exact - half of a Saturn cycle. Sometimes its amazing how we can measure time by Saturn’s cycles, and see that the “cosmic cop” in our solar system has a very patient manner, and knows that we really cannot get away with things - especially murder.
