What does it mean that nobody has been charged with this most devastating crime? The questions of "Who did it?" it are the stuff of nightmares that pierce into illusions of safety. It haunts me that I could've been up there in the tower, or on one of those planes. I'm on the WTC Health Registry because of where I lived, another permanent bond to what happened. What was in the air down there that has so many rescue workers dying? Another sign that the most deadly aspects of 9/11 are those that remain cloaked, veiled, protected, denied. Eric Francis has written about the astrology of 9/11, and in his article on Pluto, posts a quote from The Book of Pluto by Steven Forrest that expresses what's hard to find words for.
"The Plutonian vision is a fierce one, and we must take it in slowly. Through that window, we see the brevity and fragility of our lives. We see clearly the seeming randomness of catastrophe in human experience, and lose forever the comforting notion that 'it can't happen to me'. We see our love of blindness and our passion for denial. We observe minutely the wall we build between ourselves and all the hurt places inside us -- and all the mad, destructive behaviors in which we indulge when those hurt places grab the existential steering wheel. We look, in other words, into the true heart of darkness and find it to be a strangely familiar part of ourselves."
It's a dangerous truth to wake up to, and if you think about it, awakening to it is a fitting end to this era of deception. In our recent conversation, Jessica Murray also said, "The 9/11 genesis myth is the Big Story of our era, as the JFK assassination was for the last one. Buying the government's story about it (the granddaddy of all conspiracy theories) -- or not-- is what separates the sheep from the goats among progressives, artists, and all other Americans who presume to still have the use of their questioning minds." It is a challenge to emerge from passivity and receiving news to perceiving reality for ourselves.
The recent Full Moon in Sagittarius set a tone for breaking through divisive polar thinking, into new ground. There's a chance now for a series of revelations that continue through November, before Pluto moves into Capricorn. We're winding up a 14-year cycle of Pluto in Sadge that has been full of secret acts, public lies and the calculated shaping of our collective perception. What Pluto in Sadge guides us toward now is to find our own path to truth, one that we can have faith in again, and find resonance. With the alarms going off of U.S. covert operations already underway in Iran, aimed to provoke that country into war, it is desperately urgent that we attempt to restore our founding principles, both for ourselves and those in targeted countries.
I know this article, and the links might bring up fear. It reminds me of the part in the scary movie when you find out the stalker is calling from inside the house. Though I knew there was something being hidden at the start, it's taken me awhile to wade through my own denial and fear to make the connections. What I have held onto is the memory of the unprecedented soul-level moment of silence around the world in the days after the attack, in recognition of the intense human suffering on that day. If as mystics say, all time is happening at the same time, that moment lives on as a potential for healing the heart of the world. What's lying on the other side of this is the promise of that Moment, along with the restoration of the rule of law and real justice for all those killed, wounded, orphaned, widowed or traumatized by this and all subsequent acts of violence. As we saw with calls made on that fateful day, when we're standing at the threshold of death, we reach for those we love. And it's love that is going to save us, and lead us to Truth. It's time to wake up from the nightmare.
