Your Real Life
The lovely Libra Gwyneth Paltrow has started a down-to-earth newsletter called Goop. The tone of her intro echoes the back-to-the-basics trend. She writes, I want to nourish what's real. and later she advises, Invest in what's real. The focus is on the essentials...like the uniform for dress, wholesome living, and sticking with an exercise routine.
I know from my life, that a big part of getting to what's real is getting rid of what's not real. That might mean clearing out stuff from closets, drawers, garages...a stripping process that is hands-on, but can have an incredibly positive impact on the psyche. Or it can be going through a period of serious detoxing on an emotional, physical or psychic level. The vibe of whittling down to the essentials is in the air. And it's the foreshadowing of Pluto's move into Capricorn, and the overhaul of society's foundations. In the evolution to what feels real and authentic as a society, each of us finding that in our own personal universe is a good place to start.
These are critical times of change, and it makes sense to be at your best. The famous trend predictor Gerald Celente sees hard times ahead for Americans. But he cites business expansion in the areas of health, fitness and nutrition, and by this he specified that it included spiritual and emotional growth, as well as physical. Pruning, refining, organizing, purifying -- these are all helped along by Saturn the teacher, in health-aware Virgo, through 2010. The currents in the cosmos can be grounding and that heightens your instinct for what's real. And that resolve to be in your own corner, to go for a higher sense of well-being, can help you cope with whatever lies ahead.
