Mars in Sagittarius
We live in such surprising, changeable times, it's hard to know what tomorrow will bring. That makes it hard to plan far into the future. I've noticed that people are holding back on making firm commitments. Some annual events are not sure things and there's more of a wait and see attitude all around. Investment projects are being more carefully considered, now that there are seismic shifts at the foundation of the economy. Caution, a quest for 'true value,' going deep within in a search for what's real -- all these are signs of the time. It's a breakdown phase that puts things on hold, until there's some sense of how things will re-settle.
With Mars now in Sagittarius, the will to act is on active stand-by, ready to pounce on something that instinctively feels right. The revved up vitality of this sign can set a restless mood. One fiery friend said she's ready to take risks. Later this week, the Sun and Mercury join Pluto in the piece of sky that Shelley Ackerman calls, New and Improved Sagittarius. The fiery arrows of Sagittarius are potent now, making it all the more important to know what you're aiming for.
Mars in Sadge lights a fire under us to act, in a way that's inspiring, not out of obligation. As it moves into a square with Uranus in mid-December, we could see great acts of conscience or vision. The Mars-Uranus square could bring surprising situations that trigger an all-of-us-together emotional purge (Uranus in Pisces), brought on by explosive revelations or actions. In the coming weeks, beliefs around what has true value comes to the fore. It's a strangely unsettled time, and that adds to a sense that great leaps are possible. But it's also wise to know when to be patient, and just wait and see.
