Folks are getting stirred up -- have you noticed? The tightening t-square of Pluto-Uranus-Saturn has an agitating effect. Agitation can catalyze us to act and take charge, especially since these planets are in or near cardinal signs of initiation. The Uranus-Jupiter explosion in Aries has busted the gates on polite discussion -- it seems everybody is telling it like it is. There's an upside to this, with necessary truthtelling, and a downside, when raw anger is let loose and just seems to build on itself.
It's worth looking at your strategies for handling intensity. Your energetic make-up in the birth chart has clues. This morning, for example, my schedule got knocked off in part because my Virgo Sun/Gemini Moon husband was spinning out. He's extremely productive, but was pulled in a dozen directions, and got frazzled, not knowing where to start. The shadow Virgo came out and he started in with the harsh self-criticism, which lead to getting fretful and frustrated.
His frenetic behavior sets off mine --I'm also a Gemini Moon) -- so there's more than one reason to help him de-frazzle himself. We're in a Cancer-Virgo (Suns) relationship, which partly works because we understand the worry-nature. In this case, I talked in a calm voice, and together we talked about how he could organize his day. Since he was so restless, he decided to go to the store, and do the focused building a hen coop/cutting vegetables/filming later. He needed to be on the move, so later he could have a steady hand when holding the camera, using a knife, etc. The side benefit was I got some space, and knew he'd be ok after the short drive and errand running alone.
So a big part of moving through these times is not just knowing thyself, but knowing those close to you ride the waves of change. And when the heat is one, how does their behavior set you off like an energetic pinball machine. Staying alert to the currents of the moment, with an understanding of your synastry (how your planets engage) is the thing.
