Image of the Week: A Tree Coven

Follow me on:

Do you have a special tree or grove? As the Moon wanes, we can seek out enchanted places, to make the most of the in-between of the Dark Moon.

The first moment I saw this circle of trees where I live, I envisaged it as a place for ritual. It reminds me of being in circle with other priestess-types, and how powerful it is, especially when joining hands.

One way to add meaning to your New Moon musings is to scout out power spots. This takes you out of the everyday, and open to the relaxed, fluid, altered states that make magic possible.

Forests and groves have provided sacred spaces for millenia. At this time of year, especially, walking through a grove of trees and stopping to listen to their rustling leaves are very special experiences.

Very cool how these places seem to naturally occur. We have an open area which is under a kind of canopy formed in a grove of trees I planted which seemed to naturally evolve, and aided by my kids it acquired a brick fire pit. However it’s not used much, We built our home with a sacred space meditation room where most of our ceremonies and worship occur

Your circle of trees photo is compelling… definitely a power spot.
