Just as rush hour started on the East Coast, the magical moment of a new lunation also began. Following the Moon takes us out of the usual workweek rhythm, but only if we are willing (and able) to go against the cultural flow. It's Monday, for example, but the restful energies of the lunar dark are enveloping, and then later luna moves into soulful Scorpio. I'll be taking my kitty to the vet later, but will see if I can't stay in that in-between and receptive mood. I know I'm much more sensitive at this point in the cycle.
It's the Libra New Moon, and it's already hit exactness (10:02 am EDT). But the days that follow (many astrologers say three) are an extended period for the altered state of the New Moon. Anything that's just a vague sense can start to take shape over these few days. So you have time, to make your collage or vision board, and organize any intentions to aim for, over the next two weeks.
The Moon's shifting from Libra to Scorpio potentially takes us inward, and cracks open awareness that has raw energy bound up in it. Libra is a sign of wisdom, and as the energies move into Scorpio, it's magnifying the rhythm of descent that's part of this season.
A Moon in Scorpio (starting at 8:06 pm EDT) helps us follow through with a commitment to diving deep, with the Sun in its descent. It's a whatever it takes kind of resolve to back up new Moon intentions with Scorpio psychic muscle. The momentum returns through the week, especially as the Moon moves into Sagittarius at mid-week for a shift into forward motion. Have a good one!
